What is MUNZ FLOOR®?

MUNZ FLOOR® is an organic physical practice that listens to life, whose specificity lies in slow, spiral movements—rotations and counter-rotations—that promote the body's natural reorganization and restore fluidity to movement. Practiced regularly, MUNZ FLOOR® releases tensions and acts deeply on the spine, the fascial system, postural muscles (tonic) and the nervous system. Thanks to its neuromuscular reflex approach, the body reacts spontaneously, without voluntary effort, thus recovering its own resources of balance and vitality. This method, which promotes slowing down, allows for more careful listening to internal rhythms and sensations, and enables everyone to move in a calm and safe space, ideal for exploration. By cultivating a more refined body awareness, MUNZ FLOOR® enables one to inhabit the body as a living and sensitive space, rather than seeking to correct or subdue it.

How a MUNZ FLOOR® session unfolds

Munz Floor® is an auditory learning method practiced exclusively on the floor. During the ninety-minute session, participants are guided solely by the instructor’s voice, which accompanies them through sequences of spiralized movements at an extreme slowness.

Who can practice MUNZ FLOOR®?

By offering everyone a gentle space for exploration, this practice adapts to age, level, and current abilities. From adolescents to seniors, including movement artists, athletes, people in recovery, or those living with chronic pain. A few precautions, however: the method is not recommended during pregnancy or immediately after surgery, to allow the body time to regain stability. On the other hand, it is particularly indicated after childbirth.
