My Journey
From my earliest childhood, movement has been a bit like a mother tongue for me: a truer way to express myself, to read others, to feel, and to understand life through its dynamics, its tensions, and its releases. Dance led me to the language of the body. Like a key, it opened not only access to my inner landscapes, but also helped me enter into relationship with others, beyond words. Whether dancing on pointe or barefoot, rolling on the floor, spinning or crossing the stage defying gravity, each experience refined my listening while nourishing my sensitive relationship to movement. Over the years, dance revealed itself as a path of self-discovery, driven by a constant quest for precision and justness, and the intense pleasure of performing on stage, while traversed by incessant questionings during my professional practice. It was in transmitting this flame that I discovered a new horizon. Seeing dance travel and reinvent itself through each student opened a transformed perspective for me. Driven by the desire to better understand the dissonances of my performing career, I shaped a space where boldness and cordiality could coexist. Accompanying people with very different trajectories and bodies, I observed how each one carries within themselves a sacred singularity in their unique way of inhabiting movement. My desire to deepen my understanding of movement led me to the academic world. Research and qualitative analysis of movement, through the Observation-Analyse du Mouvement (OAM) approach, enriched my gaze and allowed me to weave an essential link between the theory and the practice, thus making knowledge fully embodied. Today, my work in both teaching and research converges toward a single question: what does the body tell us when it moves? This murmur, sometimes imperceptible, reveals not only our human essence but also the splendor of each person, unique landscapes that continue to fuel my curiosity and fascination.
My encounter with MUNZ FLOOR®
Although a dancer’s path develops a refined sensitivity to sensation, MUNZ FLOOR® offered me an experience unlike any other. From the very first session, what struck me was the sense of letting go that this practice invites, not as an abandonment, but as a trust placed in the body when attention rests fully on movement, without any urge to correct it. Guided only by the voice, in an unusually slow pace and spiral pathways traced along the floor, a feeling of depth—almost infinite—moved through me. This weaving together of the coach's specific vocal tone, sustained attention, slowness, and spirals took me beyond anything I had known, reconnecting me with an inner space that felt indescribably alive. Little by little, deliberate effort dissolved. My body stopped being steered by the mind and made room for reflexive, spontaneous responses. Another intelligence was speaking: the body’s capacity to organize itself, freed from the demands of a mind that can sometimes be too directive. At the end of that first class, a simple yet profound impression remained: I was simply myself. Without excess, without lack. A quiet but authentic presence, at peace.
My Guidance
My guidance follows the fine pedagogy of MUNZ FLOOR®, born from Alexandre Munz's vision. Behind the apparent simplicity of this practice opens a path to the intuitive wisdom of the body, where transformations—subtle or evident—take root in the deepest part of oneself. Since becoming certified in this method, I observe that this inner resonance can awaken in anyone who lets themselves surrender to the pleasure of spiraling. At the end of sessions, during feedback, something appears brighter: gazes gain presence, voices soften, and bodies reveal that ease of movement is possible. Witnessing these silent transformations brings me serene joy and nurtures my wonder before the singular story of each presence I accompany.
